Jelight / UVP Blak-Ray B-100YP High Intensity Yellow-Filter Wafer/PCB Inspection Lamp

is a high intensity 100-watt wafer inspection lamp designed for semiconductor fabrication, cleanroom inspection, and fine surface particle detection. Originally part of the UVP Blak-Ray B-100 high intensity lamp family and now supported through Jelight, the B-100YP uses a yellow filter to block wavelengths shorter than 500 nm and produce strong mercury emission lines at 543, 574, and 576 nm. This high-contrast output helps make small particles and surface contamination easier to see while reducing exposure in wavelength regions commonly absorbed by photoresist materials.

The B-100YP combines a Cool-Touch plastic lamp housing, transformer ballast base, 360-degree rotating lamp head, and removable handheld design for flexible benchtop or inspection-station use. It is available in 115 V and 230 V configurations.

No. The B-100YP is a yellow-filter model designed for high-contrast wafer and particle inspection. Its yellow filter blocks wavelengths shorter than 500 nm and produces strong mercury lines at 543, 574, and 576 nm. For conventional 365 nm longwave UV fluorescence inspection, review B-100AP or other longwave UV models.

Can the B-100YP be used hands-free?

Yes. The lamp head fits into the transformer base and rotates 360 degrees for hands-free positioning. The lamp head can also be removed from the base for handheld inspection.

What replacement parts are available for the B-100YP?

Warranty

Manufacturer documentation states that B-100 Series products are guaranteed to be free of defects in materials, workmanship, and manufacture for one year from the date of purchase. Consumable and disposable parts, including tubes and filters, are guaranteed to be free from defects in manufacture and materials for 90 days from the date of purchase. Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by accident, negligence, alteration, abuse, misuse, or service outside the operating instructions.
