UV Measurement

Jelight J Series UV Meters are compact, self-powered instruments designed for accurate and repeatable measurement of ultraviolet light intensity. Available for either 365 nm longwave UVA or 254 nm shortwave UVC measurement, the J Series provides a straightforward solution for monitoring UV lamps, verifying source intensity, and supporting laboratory, inspection, and quality-control applications. Each meter includes a remote sensor and multiple measurement ranges to accommodate a variety of UV sources and working conditions.

Applications

  • UV lamp intensity measurement and verification
  • Quality-control and process monitoring
  • Laboratory UV source evaluation
  • Fluorescence and inspection-system monitoring
  • Shortwave and longwave UV equipment testing
  • Routine UV lamp performance checks

Features

  • Photovoltaic, self-powered operation for maximum portability
  • Available for dedicated 254 nm UVC or 365 nm UVA measurement
  • Two measurement scales accommodate low- and high-intensity UV sources
  • Remote sensor connects to the meter with a 1.2 m (4 ft.) cord
  • Infrared filter helps improve measurement accuracy when evaluating sources that also produce infrared radiation
  • 5X attenuation screen supports measurement of higher-intensity UV sources
  • Compact 76 x 76 x 76 mm (3 x 3 x 3 in.) instrument design
  • Meters and sensors are individually serialized for calibration traceability
  • Calibration is traceable to NIST standards
