Jelight CL-3000

is a 254 nm UV crosslinker designed for controlled shortwave ultraviolet exposure in molecular biology, laboratory, and research applications. Available in 115 V and 230 V configurations, the CL-3000 delivers reproducible UV doses for nucleic-acid crosslinking, blotting workflows, decontamination procedures, and other applications requiring monitored 254 nm irradiation.

Applications

DNA and RNA Crosslinking

The CL-3000 is designed for crosslinking DNA and RNA to nylon, nitrocellulose, and related membranes in Southern blot, Northern blot, dot blot, and slot blot workflows.

Blotting and Membrane Workflows

The unit supports repeatable post-transfer UV exposure for membrane preparation prior to hybridization, probing, washing, and detection procedures.

Laboratory Decontamination

The 254 nm chamber can also be used for controlled UVC exposure in applications such as microbial or DNA contamination reduction on suitable laboratory items and surfaces.

Controlled UVC Exposure

The CL-3000 provides a programmable enclosed environment for research and laboratory procedures requiring measured shortwave ultraviolet exposure rather than simple timed illumination.
