is a 100 W high-intensity inspection lamp designed for semiconductor wafer inspection and fine surface particle detection. Its yellow optical filter provides high-contrast illumination for identifying small particles and surface contamination, while its heat-resistant Cool-Touch™ plastic housing allows more comfortable handling during extended inspection work.
Provides high-contrast illumination for inspecting semiconductor wafer surfaces during fabrication and quality control. The yellow filter blocks wavelengths below 500 nm, reducing illumination in the spectral region where many photoresists absorb light.
Supports visual identification of fine particles and surface contamination on precision components. Under suitable inspection conditions, the high-intensity illumination can make particles as small as approximately 10 µm visible.

| 95-0127-03 | 115 V | B-100YP, Yellow Filter, Cool-Touch™ Plastic Housing |
| 95-0127-04 | 230 V | B-100YP, Yellow Filter, Cool-Touch™ Plastic Housing |
Both models provide high-contrast, yellow-filtered illumination for semiconductor wafer inspection and fine particle detection. The B-100YP features a heat-resistant Cool-Touch™ plastic housing designed for more comfortable handling during extended use, while the B-100Y uses a powder-coated aluminum housing that becomes hot during operation.
The yellow filter blocks wavelengths below 500 nm while transmitting prominent mercury emission lines at 543, 574, and 576 nm. This filtered output provides high contrast for semiconductor wafer inspection and fine surface particle detection. Unlike conventional 365 nm UV-A lamps, the B-100YP is not intended for standard longwave ultraviolet fluorescence inspection.
The lamp starts immediately when cool but requires approximately five minutes to reach full brightness. After shutdown, the mercury-vapor bulb typically requires four to eight minutes to cool before restarting.
Although the Cool-Touch™ housing reduces external temperatures, the internal bulb becomes extremely hot during operation. Avoid looking directly into the light source and wear appropriate eye protection. Disconnect power and allow the lamp to cool completely before servicing. Replace cracked or damaged filter glass promptly, and follow applicable procedures for handling and disposing of mercury-containing bulbs.
