Loading... Please wait...is a 6 W replacement ultraviolet tube that emits midrange UV radiation at 302 nm. Designed for compatible Jelight Handheld, EL Series, 3UV, and selected transilluminator systems, it restores UV-B output for laboratory inspection, fluorescence examination, and equipment maintenance.
Restores 302 nm UV excitation in compatible lamps used to examine fluorescent minerals, dyes, specimens, and other UV-responsive materials. The replacement tube supports continued midrange fluorescence inspection when the original tube loses output or requires replacement.
Provides replacement UV-B illumination for compatible 6 W transilluminators used in fluorescence-based sample visualization. Suitable for equipment specifically requiring a 6 W, 302 nm midrange UV source.
Replaces worn or damaged 302 nm tubes in compatible Jelight Handheld, EL Series, and legacy 3UV equipment. Proper tube replacement helps maintain the intended performance of the existing lamp assembly.

The UVM-57 uses the 34-0044-01 as its 302 nm UV-B light source. Other handheld models may require different replacement tubes depending on their wavelength and configuration, so verify the complete lamp model before ordering.
The UVM-16 and UVLM-26 each require one 34-0044-01 tube, while the legacy UVM-26 uses two. Other tube positions in multi-source models require their appropriate 365 nm or white-light tubes.
No, Jelight specifies different replacement tubes for its 4 W, 6 W, and 8 W UV-B equipment. The 34-0071-01 is designated for compatible 4 W systems, while the 34-0042-01 is designated for compatible 8 W systems. Matching wavelengths do not guarantee electrical or physical compatibility.
Disconnect the equipment from power and allow the tube to cool before replacement. Follow the equipment manual, handle the glass carefully, and ensure appropriate UV-protective eyewear, skin protection, and shielding are in place before operation. Never look directly at an exposed UV-B source.
Handle used tubes as potentially mercury-containing fluorescent lamps and follow applicable recycling or hazardous-waste requirements. If a tube breaks, follow appropriate mercury-lamp cleanup procedures rather than treating the fragments as ordinary glass waste.
This product is covered by a 12-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Inspect the product before use and contact ScienceLighting support if any defects or issues are identified.
