What safety measures should be taken when using the UVLS-24?

Use appropriate UV-protective eyewear and face protection when operating the lamp, and minimize direct exposure of the eyes and skin to ultraviolet radiation. Do not look directly at the UV source. Because the UVLS-24 produces 254 nm shortwave UV as well as 365 nm longwave UV, appropriate protective measures are especially important.
