Can the UVG-54 be used for germicidal applications?

The UVG-54 emits 254 nm UVC, a wavelength associated with germicidal effects. Actual microbial reduction depends on delivered UV dose, distance, exposure time, geometry, organism, and other conditions, so the lamp should not be treated as a validated sterilization system without application-specific verification.
