Hands-Free UV Inspection

The J-124 converts a compatible handheld Compact UV Lamp into a supported benchtop source, allowing users to position samples and equipment with both hands during inspection or examination.

Fluorescence Examination

The stand provides stable lamp positioning for fluorescence observation of minerals, dyes, tracers, biological samples, security markings, and other UV-responsive materials.

Currency and Document Inspection

When used with a compatible 365 nm financial UV lamp, the J-124 supports repetitive hands-free inspection of currency, identification documents, security features, and fluorescent authentication markings.

UV Curing

The stand can support compatible Compact UV curing lamps during small-area curing of UV-responsive adhesives, resins, coatings, and other materials where stable lamp positioning is beneficial.

Which UV lamps are compatible with the J-124?

The J-124 is designed for the 4 W Compact UV Lamp family, including compatible UVG-11, UVGL-15, UVGL-25, UVL-21, UVL-23, UVL-23R, and UVL-23RW models.

Does the J-124 provide UV shielding?

No. The J-124 is a positioning stand and does not provide UV shielding. Appropriate protective equipment, shielding, and operating procedures should be used for the wavelength and application of the installed UV lamp.

The Jelight 98-0020-03 J-124 Compact UV Lamp Stand is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. Please inspect all protective equipment before each use.
