is a compact spectral light source providing a prominent 214 nm UV emission for absorption measurements, analytical instrumentation, air-pollution monitoring, wavelength calibration, and spectroscopy. Its thermally stable zinc lamp design supports reliable optical performance, while 431.8 mm (17 in.) stripped axial leads provide extended connection length for integration into compatible instruments and OEM systems. The 90-0069-11 is designed for use with the Jelight PS-9 power supply.
The 90-0069-11 provides a strong zinc emission near 214 nm for UV absorption cells, detectors, and measurement systems requiring a defined shortwave UV source.
The stable 214 nm zinc emission makes the 90-0069-11 suitable for air-pollution monitoring and environmental instrumentation that rely on a defined UV source for optical measurement.
The characteristic zinc spectrum provides a defined reference near 214 nm for wavelength calibration, spectroscopy, optical testing, and instrument development.
The 90-0069-11 uses 431.8 mm (17 in.) stripped axial leads that extend from the end of the lamp assembly, providing additional connection length for equipment designed around an axial electrical connection.

Axial leads extend directly from the end or center of the lamp base rather than exiting around its perimeter. The 90-0069-11 is supplied with 431.8 mm (17 in.) stripped axial leads for integration into compatible equipment.
In some applications, yes. Zinc Pen-Ray lamps may provide an alternative to deuterium lamps when the application specifically requires a stable, prominent UV source near 214 nm. They are not a general replacement for broadband deuterium sources.
Yes. Appropriate ventilation and application-specific ozone controls should be considered when operating the lamp in oxygen-containing environments.
