Axial leads extend directly from the end or center of the lamp base rather than exiting around its perimeter. The 90-0069-06 is supplied with 203 mm (8 in.) stripped axial leads for direct integration into compatible equipment.
In some applications, yes. Zinc Pen-Ray lamps may provide an alternative to deuterium lamps when the application specifically requires a stable, prominent UV source near 214 nm. They are not a general replacement for broadband deuterium sources.
Shortwave UV radiation can injure the eyes and skin. Operate the lamp only in appropriately engineered equipment using suitable UV shielding, eye and skin protection, electrical safeguards, ventilation, and other controls appropriate to the application.
The Jelight 90-0069-06 Zinc Pen-Ray UV Lamp is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. Please inspect all protective equipment before each use.
