is an 8 W replacement ultraviolet tube that emits shortwave UV radiation at 254 nm. Designed for compatible Jelight EL Series lamps, CL-3000 Crosslinkers, and other UV laboratory equipment, it restores UV-C output for fluorescence examination, UV crosslinking, and equipment maintenance.
Restores 254 nm UV excitation in compatible lamps used to examine fluorescent minerals, specimens, and other UV-responsive materials. The replacement tube supports continued shortwave fluorescence inspection when the original tube loses output or requires replacement.
Provides replacement UV-C illumination for compatible crosslinkers used in nucleic acid membrane crosslinking and related laboratory procedures. Also supports selected UV transilluminators used for fluorescence-based sample visualization.
Replaces worn or damaged 254 nm tubes in compatible Jelight EL Series lamps, CL-3000 Crosslinkers, and other supported UV equipment. Proper tube replacement helps maintain the intended performance of the existing lamp assembly.

The 34-0007-01 is compatible with the UVS-18, UVS-28, UVLS-28, and UVLMS-38 EL Series lamps. The UVS-28 requires two 254 nm tubes, while the other listed models use one each. Additional tube positions may require different wavelengths or white-light replacements.
The standard 254 nm CL-3000 Crosslinker requires six 34-0007-01 replacement tubes. The manufacturer recommends replacing all six tubes together to help maintain consistent UV output and crosslinking performance.
No, the CL-3000M requires 302 nm replacement tubes (34-0042-01), while the CL-3000L requires 365 nm replacement tubes (34-0006-01). The 34-0007-01 is specifically designated for the standard 254 nm CL-3000 Crosslinker.
Disconnect the equipment from power and allow the tubes to cool before replacement. Follow the equipment manual, handle the glass carefully, and verify that all UV shielding and safety interlocks are functioning before operation. Use appropriate UV-protective eyewear and skin protection, and never look directly at an exposed UV-C source.
Handle used tubes as potentially mercury-containing fluorescent lamps and follow applicable recycling or hazardous-waste requirements. If a tube breaks, follow appropriate mercury-lamp cleanup procedures rather than treating the fragments as ordinary glass waste.
This product is covered by a 12-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Inspect the product before use and contact ScienceLighting support if any defects or issues are identified.
