Xenon Weathering Test Lamps

Xenon weathering lamps and optical filters work together to reproduce controlled solar exposure in Atlas Weather-Ometer systems. The xenon lamp provides ultraviolet, visible, and infrared radiation, while the selected inner and outer filters shape that output for traditional daylight, window-glass, Extended UV, or specialized automotive testing.

These configurations help evaluate fading, discoloration, cracking, gloss loss, and other forms of material degradation. Selecting the correct lamp and filter combination—and replacing components at the recommended intervals—supports consistent spectra, repeatable testing, and reliable results.
