Product Description

The HTL NSC4 series LED UV spot curing system incorporates cutting-edge control electronics and UV LED curing technology in a durable, multifunctional, and easily adapted system for either automated or operator controlled UV curing operations. Each NSC4 unit comes with a controller for the four independently adjustable UV LED heads, each with UV intensity of up to 11W/cm2.  The NSC4 is fully functional right out of the box, with user-friendly control unit, with 4 thermally efficient UV LED heads on cables, footswitch, and safety glasses. 

There are three models LED heads optional and ten kinds of optical lens. The standard wavelength is 365nm, but optional wavelengths available are 385nm, 395nm and 405nm. It is widely used for curing UV glue, UV adhesives and other UV light curable materials.

The irradiation time and the irradiation intensity can be independently adjustable for each UV LED head. The UV intensity is up to 14W/cm2.The UV light spot size can be changeable by replacing the optical lens. It is durable and multifunctional, easily incorporated into automated systems.

Applications

  • Leak detection, 

  • Multiple station re-entry control ink stamp illumination, 

  • Curing inks, adhesives, coatings, and resins. This wavelength is effective in initiating polymerization processes, providing rapid curing of a wide range of materials.

  • Fluorescence Excitation: Various wavelengths can be used to excite fluorescence in various materials, including fluorescent dyes, minerals, and biological samples. This is particularly useful in fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, and other analytical techniques.

  • UV Curing in 3D Printing: UV LEDs are utilized in some 3D printing processes, particularly those that involve photopolymerization. The UV light selectively cures layers of resin to build up a three-dimensional object.

Features 

  • Easily configured for most any application with multiple wavelengths from 365nm to 405nm, thermally controlled LED driver heads, standard cable lengths up to 15 meters, and a wide range of LED lenses for output control.    
  • Wavelengths of 365nm (usually in stock), 385nm, 395nm and 405nm (each typically 2-3 week lead time).

  • The compact UH56 LED driver head is ideal for room temperature usage, and for most non-continuous applications and is typically in stock.

  • Higher thermal efficiency heat sink fins and even a fan option are available to maximize lifetimes of both LED and LED driver electronics for use in more demanding industrial production environments.

  • Orientation and placement of head is practically unlimited, with driver in head design to allow nearly any cable lengths for special order customizations.  Standard length is 5 meters from stock, with special order lengths, both shorter and longer available.

  • The UV light spot size can easily be changed by replacing the optical lens for experimentation and system optimization.  

  • The ability to customize and mix configurations, and with independently adjustable control of each channel and the selection of mixed LED wavelengths and lenses, will allow for an optimized excitation, detection or curing process, beam shape, intensity, timing, and system geometry or locations.
