Ushio SMR-200/D1 — EmArc® Enhanced Metal Arc Lamp (P/N 5001399)

is a 160–200 W DC discharge lamp with an integrated 70 mm reflector, engineered for high-luminance, fiber-optic illumination and precision optical systems. A tightly confined 1.2 mm arc, Xenon-like 6500 K color temperature, and reflector alignment optimized for a 6 mm aperture at 52 mm from the rim deliver excellent light collection efficiency into small-diameter bundles. EmArc technology blends rare gas and metal additives to combine the best traits of Xenon, metal-halide, and mercury sources—offering hot re-ignition, up to 60 lm/W efficacy, and long service life with no internal cold pressure. Rated life is 2,000 hours (50% spherical lumen depreciation at a 2h45 on/15 min off duty cycle).

    The product was arrived in a week and works fine. I tried the light bulb and it works well. I just start to use it so that I don't know whether it will last 2000 hours as indicated in this webpage. so far it's good.
