The Hamamatsu L8029 and L8029-01 are 100W, Fused Silica Mercury Xenon lamps. These lamps have identical specifications except for lifetime:  

• L8029 has a 500 hour warranty, with a 1000 hour typical life. 

• L8029 has a 1000 hour warranty, with a 2000 hour typical life.
